The Wildz Side!
First and foremost, welcome to the wild part of the Petz Community!
Q: What do you consider a wild?
A: Wildz are basically any pet you have that cannot place in the standard cat/dog shows. Birds, bunnies, llamas, bears, rats, and even extinct animals like dinosaurs are allowed to participate.
However, they have to exist in real life, or have once existed. Hexes that do not fall under that category will need to have their shows posted in the designated board for fantasy petz. Fantasy petz are those that do not fit under the dog, cat, or wild categories. Fantasy includes miscellaneous petz, such as hotdogs with legs or mushrooms. They can still be adopted out and shown around The Wild Side, though, regardless if they aren't wildz!
Q: Are there any breeds that cannot participate?
A: Currently, horses that are accepted on the Seeing Stars forum cannot participate, as we do not want to take away from the Horse Community. If you have a horse you'd like to show, I'd suggest registering over there.
Q: Where can I find 'wild' petz?
A: Wildz can be found on a handful of Petz sites as breedfile downloads. Many hexers around the community also have their own creations they give out.
Q: May I open my own shows?
A: Of course! There are currently three shows that we host here; Gameplay, Pose, and Competition Shows. After you read the stickied guidelines here, here, and here. You may open your show as long as they follow the guidelines pertaining to the show you wish to open.
Q: What is 'Gameplay'?
A: Gameplay Contests are contests that rely on you to play and take pictures of your pet. Those who bond the most with their pet(s) usually win the contest. Gameplays usually last several days and require you to play with your petz in game naturally.
Q: What is a Pose Show?
A: A 'wildz' Pose Show is a bit different from the average Cat/Dog shows. Petz must follow this guideline while posting. Since most wildz aren't meant to pose, the guidelines are not as strict as typical cat/dog shows.
Q: What is a Competition show?
A: A competition here on the board is any show that does not fit Gameplay or Pose Show criteria. A competition might consist of agility or beauty, but are not limited to them. You may get creative!
Q: Where can I find wildz breeds to show?
A: Here is a small sampler of the many sites with wildz breedfiles:
Cheetah Kennelz
Minibyte Petz Archive
Pine Cone Cattery
Supernova
